I am back from my Dad's memorial service in NY. It was a wonderful event. I was thrilled to see so many family and friends. I know my dad would have been embarrassed by the turn out and the fuss. I have returned with a renewed sense of purpose. Which is a good thing since IAMLAKEWORTH opens in just over a week!
I wanted to take a minute to mention my other pieces you will see besides the 36 framed IAMLAKEWORTH portraits. I will also be showing some the digital paintings I did of the players at the monthly Jazz on J Street jam session as they are a part of the fabric of Lake Worth and fit with the theme. I will also be showing previews of some of the pieces in an upcoming show I will have at Hatch1121 called everyday Lake Worth. these are digital paintings I have done of photos taken showing life in this funky beachside town I love so much. Together all three parts are a love letter to my adopted home of Lake worth, Florida. please remember to join us for the opening Friday 7/6 from 6-8:30pm at Hatch1121 (1121 Lucerne Ave. Lake Worth)
