comm{unity} Exhibit
Lake Worth Food Trucks

Hello Art Friends!

Wow!  It's February and there is a lot going on.  The Art of Jazz on J Street show continues until 2/6 and the final reception is tonight.  Young Miles Hoyt will be performing on guitar with his dad Mike.  That is not to be missed.  I am continuing my studies towards a certificate in project management from Cornell University.  I have four courses under my belt and the last one started yesterday.  I was notified yesterday that the three pieces I submitted for the comm{unity} art exhibit were accepted.  Drop off is Saturday and the show opens next week.  I have three big pieces in this show.  One of them is the food trucks digital painting you have seen me post before.  The theme of the show is art is borderless.  I really love that on many levels.  The other two pieces are framed 30x40 digital paintings of the Palm Beach County Pride Parade in Lake Worth last year and another from the Lake Worth Street Painting Festival.  I'll share those two new ones after the show has been upper a bit and the opening repletion is done so they can be new work to the folks who come to Hatch 1121 for the show.  Now since that is not enough I am taking a painting workshop focusing on color with Patti Mollica who is one of my favorite painters.  I am also participating in a 30 paintings in 30 days challenge starting today.  I will work exclusively in Acrylic paints to help define my style in this new medium for me.   Add to this volunteering for the local meet the candidates forum next week and working on my two solo shows later this year and my plate is officially full.  Look for me to post here my acrylic work every few days as I work my way thru 30 paintings in 30 days.

Keep Makin Art!
