A few of the nature photos I have done in the past week. I am currently showing 11 digital paintings in the Art of Jazz on J Street show at Clay Metal Glass Stove Gallery

Hello Art Friends

It has been a busy start to the new year.  I have continued to work on my digital portraits, done two headshot sittings, am participating in a group art show, applied to be in a new community art show, worked on my nature photography and am going to school for a certificate in project management.  Wow that does sound like a lot.  So far I am keeping up with it all and keeping my sanity.  Right now I am charging batteries and packing my gear for two days of corporate headshot work up on Singer Island.  It feels good to be doing some purely photographic work again.

The community art show I applied for is announcing who's work got selected on Wed.  I am looking forward to this show and think I have a good shot at getting a couple of pieces in.  It was fun picking images with the theme Comm(unity).  I had lots of stuff to choose from and went bold with entering 2 30x40 pieces and 1 22x36" piece.  Wish me luck.

My course work for the certificate in project management from Cornell continues to go well. My current class ends on Tuesday and then just one more two week course left.  I am also taking a couple of online classes in drawing, but that is just for me and to help up my game as I do more drawings on my iPad Pro with the Apple Pencil.  I am hoping to start taking a figure drawing class soon and using the iPad as what I draw on.

Enjoy your week to come and Keep Makin' Art!
