A renewed sense of purpose

I woke this morning with a renewed sense of purpose... OK.  I woke this morning to the sound of one of my crazy cats scratching the sofa in a none too subtle attempt to get breakfast early today.  For the sake of my sofa I got up and fed the little monsters.  It is true though I woke with a renewed sense of purpose.  I attended a workshop last night on pricing and selling your art held at ArtServe in Ft Lauderdale.  The speakers were painter Jen Walls, photographer/film maker Tabitha Mudra and puppet designer Jim Hammond.  Listening to these three dynamic speakers I realized I have been so busy creating new art since the move to Florida 16 months ago I have not been talking much about my art journey or my process very much.  That stops now!  So if you are interested in what I think as I create and the odd ways my life intersects with my art then check out my blog often.  in my previous blog (Artistic Balance) I had posted nearly every for several years.  Frankly, I just got out of the habit of writing.  I am looking forward to correcting that and sharing my current projects with you as well as my thoughts about them as they evolve.

Keep Making' Art!

Thanks Jeannette! I have been thinking I really missed the structure of finding something to write about almost everyday and how it helped clarify my own journey for me. So, I will be starting back up again with a commentary about digital painting tomorrow.
Yay. I was just showing someone my own blog from long ago, and the impact of YOUR blog on my own journey! Been thinking about writing again. Please write about your process, yes!
